San Diego Real Estate

The real estate market in San Diego began improving in May after bottoming out in April. Demand has been on the rise since. We are currently facing very low inventory (homes listed for sale), levels we haven't seen since 2013. Today, we have 2,774 fewer homes on the market than we did last year at this same time. That's a 59% year-over-year decrease!

We are officially in a hot seller's market (determined by expected market time of under 60 days) with an average expected market time, across all price points, of 37 days.

COVID-19 is suppressing inventory and low-interest rates are fueling demand across the county. By the end of June, demand had grown by 20% in only 4 weeks, and was at the highest level since 2016.
