San Diego Market Update

The San Diego real estate market is as hot today as it has been since May 2020. October through the week leading up to Thanksgiving will be the final push for both buyers and sellers before the holidays begin and the frenetic pace of the market will slow--slightly. Fewer homes will come on the market between Thanksgiving and the end of the year, depleting our anemic inventory further. Buyers who believe they will have more negotiating power in November and December due to fewer buyers active in the market will likely be disappointed. As I tell anyone who asks: Buyers: when you find the right home for your 5+ year needs, move on it; 2022 will not be any easier. Sellers: price your homes in line with the pending sales and the market will reward you with strong offers and terms that will favor you.

Contact me if you want to discuss your specific real estate situation and we'll put a plan in place that is right for you.
