We hope everyone had a fantastic summer and are as excited as we are about the start of the Autumn market. San Diego’s real estate activity in August was relatively typical, with limited sales as many enjoyed the last month of summer before returning to school and work. As the historical chart below illustrates, inventory levels usually peak in August and then gradually decline towards the year's end. This year appears to be no different.
Next month, we will provide further insights on buyer demand and market activity, particularly in light of expectations that the Federal Reserve may lower short-term interest rates this month. Record-Breaking Trailblaze Challenge Season

The results are in from the 2024 Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge, and we set a new record by raising an incredible $958,000! This surpasses last year’s total by more than $218,000, making it the highest amount ever raised in a single Trailblaze Challenge San Diego season.
But this achievement is more than just a number—it’s a testament to the strength of a community united by a common goal. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported me, whether through donations or words of encouragement, as I completed this one day, 28-mile hike.
I'm truly grateful to be part of the life-changing mission of Make-A-Wish San Diego, helping to bring hope and joy to critically ill children and their families who benefit directly from our efforts.
